National Youth Brass Band Championships - Junior Section 2010

Astley Youth Band have won the Junior Section of the National Youth Brass Band Championships 2010! The band collected the Boosey & Hawkes Youth Cup, Banner and a Gold Certificate of Achievement.

North West Counties Brass Band Championships 2008

Astley Youth Band have won the Youth Section of the North West Counties Brass Band Championships for the third time! Read the adjudicator remarks here. The Colin Rowson Scholarship for the Best Cornet was won by Matthew Woodward. The Alan Rowson Scholarship for the Best Trombone was won by Samantha Minshall. The George Atherton Memorial Trophy was awarded to the winning MD Helen Minshall.
